Mr. Aswani, a mechanical engineer by profession, also holds an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Leicester (UK) and has certification in Data Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is credited with setting up the Data & Applied Analytics Center at Nation Media Group. Pathways International CEO and President Mr. Joel Onditi hailed Mr. Aswani as the “right leader for the big data and analytics era in Africa”. Mr. Aswani, whose latest role at Nation Media Group was Head of Data & Analytics, has years of experience at senior management and leadership, and previously worked for Thomas De La Rue (K) LTD and East African Breweries Ltd.
